Dave Johnson is a pioneer and leader in the development and use of thin film shape memory alloys, with fundamental publications and patents. Dave will present data on development of his Nitinol based heat engine which offers intriguing possibilities for new alternative energy options.
Note - Charles Ostman has had a scheduling conflict and will not be able to attend our February meeting, however, if time permits, we will also show video highlights of several presentations from his recent NanoSig International Nanotechnology Conference at NASA's Ames Research Center last October.
