Arrive one hour early at 12 noon for a free tour of the TechShop by its staff to
find out what you can make (and learn to make). there using its plastics, metal
wood, textiles, electronics CAD-CAM and other industrial fabrication equipment.
Membership & safety instruction is required for the use of TechShop industrial equipment.Directions to TechShop:
Avoid traffic, parking & energy hassles. Try public transit.
The Tech Shop is just over 2 blocks from the Powell Street BART station,
a block or so from Golden Gate Transit and SamTrans stops
and a mere 15 minute walk from CalTrain San Francisco.Click here for a Google map of the area.
Parking is available: at TechShop and across the street
(for about $10 a day) or at the 4th & Mission garage.
